Safety Instructions and Intended Use

Please carefully review the documentation in its entirety before commencing with the installation. Neglecting to adhere to the recommended procedures may result in malfunctions, pose a threat to life, or lead to legal violations. We disclaim any responsibility for losses or damages arising from incorrect installation or operation of the appliance.

Exercise caution as there is a risk of electric shock. The installation of the appliance must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Take note that changing connections should be done with the assurance that no voltage is present. Avoid modifying antennas and strictly adhere to the prescribed connection method outlined in these instructions to prevent potential damage or injury. Keep the products away from children and adolescents.

This product is not infallible and must only be used in situations where the lives of people or valuables do not depend on its operation. The appliance contains wearing parts that necessitate regular servicing in accordance with the provided instructions.

Ensure the operating location specified during the initial setup or in the settings is accurately configured. The device is not intended for use as an alarm system and must not be employed or combined for such purposes. It is strictly prohibited to use the device for applications outside the scope of building automation for private buildings, as well as for critical scenarios where life, pets, or livestock depend on its functionality. Indoor use is the sole allowed application.

Maintain the ambient temperature within the specifications of the modules used, with the module featuring the lowest temperature specification determining the maximum permissible temperature. The user is not authorized to open the devices; only qualified personnel should do so to avoid the risk of electric shock. Seek medical attention or call an ambulance in the event of an electric shock. Adhere to the maintenance instructions for the components (modules) employed. The relative humidity for operation must be 20-70% and must not condense under any circumstances.

In the event of damage, disconnect the appliance first from the mains voltage and then from all connected extra-low voltages. The appliance must not be used if damaged, which includes instances where the appliance is inoperative (no LEDs light up), if housing is damaged, if a plug has been compromised, or if the appliance has been exposed to water or other liquids.

Operate the device exclusively with the specified mains supply for the power supply unit and use only wired cables that comply with the module specifications. Indoor usage is limited to dry, dust-protected, and vibration-free locations where heat exchange is possible, potentially through ventilation.

Avoid placing objects on the appliance, strictly adhere to installation instructions, refrain from inserting objects through the appliance openings, and ensure that the appliance is not used near naked flames or exposed to direct heat radiation (radiators, sun). Slight heating of the housing is considered normal, and users should check temperature sensors through the provided user software.

The user must ensure that regular backups of the system are created. There is no liability for lost data.

Disposal

The devices must not be disposed of with household waste.
As electrical appliances, they can be disposed of free of charge at a collection point.
